Climate Change is already Affecting USA
Climate change caused by air pollution created by the burning of fuels is already having catastrophic effects on the United States a study mandated by the President has found. The National Climate Assessment prepared by a large panel of scientists provides even more reason to speed up investment in new energy technologies such as low energy nuclear reaction (LENR).
The effects caused by climate change include shorter and warmer winters, droughts, torrential rains, massive wildfires, flooding and the melting of glaciers, the Assessment found. Perhaps most troubling the scientists involved predicted that temperatures could rise by 10 degrees in the next century.
Among other things that could cause sea levels to rise by three feet and flood many cities including Miami Beach where ironically enough Andrea Rossi lives. Devastating droughts and heat waves that could kill crops and cause food shortages and higher food prices could also become more common.
The National Climate Assessment shows us that we need large scale investment in new energy sources now. We need to divert funds from schemes that don’t work like carbon capture to technologies that could conceivably produce large amounts of energy without emissions.
The best options are nuclear technologies and in the nuclear field LENR technologies such as Andrea Rossi’s ecat, the Celani Cell, and Brillouin’s Hot Tube. These technologies are among are the most promising and safest nuclear out there. More money needs to be invested in LENR now by government, private individuals and investors.
History has shown us that we cannot rely upon government for solutions to problems such as air pollution and global warming. Its researchers are still trapped in the last century dumping money into obsolete technologies that benefit politically connected special interests. We need new technologies and new ideas, not slogans.
If we rely on government for the answers, climate change will be inevitable. Our best hope at ending climate change comes from inventors such as Andrea Rossi, Robert Godes and the Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project not politicians.
