Climate Change is already Affecting USA

Climate change caused by air pollution created by the burning of fuels is already having catastrophic effects on the United States a study mandated by the President has found. The National Climate Assessment prepared by a large panel of scientists provides even more reason to speed up investment in new energy technologies such as low energy nuclear reaction (LENR).

The effects caused by climate change include shorter and warmer winters, droughts, torrential rains, massive wildfires, flooding and the melting of glaciers, the Assessment found. Perhaps most troubling the scientists involved predicted that temperatures could rise by 10 degrees in the next century.

Among other things that could cause sea levels to rise by three feet and flood many cities including Miami Beach where ironically enough Andrea Rossi lives. Devastating droughts and heat waves that could kill crops and cause food shortages and higher food prices could also become more common.

The National Climate Assessment shows us that we need large scale investment in new energy sources now. We need to divert funds from schemes that don’t work like carbon capture to technologies that could conceivably produce large amounts of energy without emissions.

The best options are nuclear technologies and in the nuclear field LENR technologies such as Andrea Rossi’s ecat, the Celani Cell, and Brillouin’s Hot Tube. These technologies are among are the most promising and safest nuclear out there. More money needs to be invested in LENR now by government, private individuals and investors.

The sale of rubber waders is going to be a growth industry because of floods triggered by global warming.

History has shown us that we cannot rely upon government for solutions to problems such as air pollution and global warming. Its researchers are still trapped in the last century dumping money into obsolete technologies that benefit politically connected special interests. We need new technologies and new ideas, not slogans.

If we rely on government for the answers, climate change will be inevitable. Our best hope at ending climate change comes from inventors such as Andrea Rossi, Robert Godes and the Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project not politicians.

Jennifer you are probably to young to remember this http://www.populartechnology.net/2013/02/the-1970s-global-cooling-alarmism.html

You should go here http://www.petitionproject.org/ 31,487 American scientists have signed this petition, including 9,029 with PhDs These scientists do not believe man is changing the climate.

I would love to see LENR or some other new energy source as clean come to the market. Until that happens I will not buy into what our President says he has another agenda.

Besides would you believe this group ( A team of more than 300 experts guided by a 60-member Federal Advisory Committee produced the report, which was extensively reviewed by the public and experts, including federal agencies and a panel of the National Academy of Sciences.) over the overwhelming majority of scientists at the Petition Project?

I agree with you that the Administration has no real solution for climate change. They admit there’s a problem they just don’t have a solution (probably out of fear of losing donations from the fossil fuel industries). On the other hand it looks like the change is happening whether we want to admit it or not. I choose to believe the evidence rather than the politics. We’re going to have to deal with this problem. Of course new energy sources like LENR will probably take care of the problem no matter what the politicians do. If Obama’s restrictions speed up the process more power to them.
