Rossi Plans Small Reactor

Andrea Rossi is apparently planning to unveil a new smaller version of his e-cat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) device. As usual Rossi s is not revealing much about the device which he called the E-Cat X/QuarkX.

He did make this statement in a March 20 blog post: “The Hot Cat is evolved into the E-Cat QuarkX. So far. F8, F9.” That seems to indicate that the QuarkX is actually simply the latest version of the hot e-cat technology Rossi and his team have been working on for a long time.

Above is concept art of what e-cat might look like created by Daniel Badoul courtesy ecat.com.

One possibility might be that QuarkX is simply the commercial version of the E-Cat X, which is presumably the 10th version of e-cat that Rossi has built. “EcatX is evolved into QuarkX. Is the same thing, evolved.”

The capabilities of QuarkX are not known but it would presumably generate large amounts of heat which could be used to create steam to generate electricity. Rossi also noted that the device would be first made available to the public in the United States.

Rossi could Still Own E-cat

This means it would presumably be marketed by Tom Darden’s Industrial Heat LLC. Interestingly enough Rossi revealed something that is both fascinating and cryptic about his business. He revealed that he and not Darden seems to control the Leonardo Corporation the company that developed the e-cat technology before it was licensed or sold to Industrial Heat.

“The owner of Leonardo Corporation is a trust,” Rossi told a correspondent named Marco Serra. “I cannot add more information about this issue.”

This tells us little because the word trust is not defined. Something we must remember is that the Leonardo Corporation is based in Italy which has very different legal system than the USA. Trusts in Europe are very different than those in the US.

Some very large European companies including Aldi Sud which operates the Aldi discount grocery stores in the US and Aldi Nord which owns Trader Joe’s are actually trusts. That means Rossi could still own Leonardo and potentially e-cat itself or at least the rights to it outside North America.

It looks as if there is a lot happening in the world of E-cat. Interestingly one of the world’s smartest and richest men Bill Gates thinks that the world will solve its energy problems within the next two decades. In his 2016 Annual Letter posted at his Gates Notes blog, Bill made this bold prediction:

“I’m so optimistic about the world’s ability to make a miracle happen that I’m willing to make a prediction. Within the next 15 years—and especially if young people get involved—I expect the world will discover a clean energy breakthrough that will save our planet and power our world.”

One has to wonder what Bill Gates knows that we don’t.

That is appearently taking too long. We now finally need the promised, official results of the “one year test run”, else this seems to evolve to a hoax, like the o-cube.

I agree one hundred percent, we need the results that will be delayed there’s now a lawsuit, although I don’t think it’s a hoax. If it was a hoax, Rossi wouldn’t go to court and face perjury charges. If it wasn’t real they wouldn’t be suing each other over it. One good result of the suit is that the results could become public record for everybody to see.
